Learn Japanese 【Ⅰ】: INTRODUCTION + Hiragana

Hey guys, some of the readers asked me to teach them nihongo so yeah, here it is ❤
Wouldn't it be awesome if you actually knew nihongo and you won't need subtitles to be able to understand animes?
It would beeeee!
Let's learn nihongo guys ❤
I'm still learning so i'm not really that good at nihongo yet but I think I can teach you guys the basics until the level that I know.
If you're going to actually learn nihongo with me, please be serious about this. Thanks!

This post is just an introduction to the lessons 🙂

What you will need :

*Pen
*Paper
*The WILL to actually continue studying Nihongo.
I wouldn't want to teach half-assed students.

GOAL :
*Be able to read and write in Hiragana and Katakana.
*Be able to read and write Kanji (Even a lil bit)
*Be able to converse in nihongo (Little by little)

Let's do this thing.

Soooo yes.
We are going to start with their letters.

Unlike English [which has 26 letters (i actually had to count them while reciting the abc. xD)]

Nihongo has a lot of letters. I’m telling ya. A LOT.

They are divided into three groups.

The Hiragana , Katakana , and Kanji

Hiragana (ひらがな) – is like the most basic of em’. Has 46 characters. This is a must-learn thingy. Used the most. (i think)

Katakana (カタカナ) – is used for foreign words. Explanation later. 46 characters.
Kanji (漢字} – well, yeah, the most shizziest of em all. 2136 characters, 2+ readings each. Hella hard.

The most important (for now) is learning hiragana and katakana.

Let’s learn HIRAGANA ひらがな

This is a hiragana chart.
(c) got it from google. not mine.

You say it like,

A I U E O
KA KI KU KE KO
SA SHI SU SE SO
TA CHI TSU TE TO
NA NI NU NE NO
HA HI FU HE HO
MA MI MU ME MO
YA YU YO
RA RI RU RE RO
WA O(wo) N

Just remember AKASATANAHAMAYARAWA
To remember what goes next.

Those are the super basics, i did say there are 46 but there are additional characters for the hiragana

The
G – GA GI GU GE GO ( KAKIKUKEKO WITH “)
Z – ZA JI ZU ZE ZO ( SASHISUSESO WITH “)
D – DA JI ZU DE DO ( TACHITSUTETO WITH “)
B – BA BI BU BE BO (HAHIFUHEHO WITH “)
P – PA PI PU PE PO (HAHIFUHEHO WITH CIRCLE THINGY ) (Look at the chart)

PLUS,
There is also the kya kyu kyo sha shu sho thingy, but I didn’t really learn it specially, i think you will naturally learn how to use it when you get the hang of this.

This article is pretty short so yeaaah 😦 sorry!

#Note

I won’t teach you how to use it yet, for now , please focus on memorizing the hiragana chart first. (The upper left part only. But if you feel really motivated , you can try and memorize everything. I would really be thankful if you did that )
That will be your assignment number one ❤
When you guys memorize how to write and read hiragana , we'll proceed to the next part :))

I'll leave a post in the Tgook group about this Article.
Please do participate, esp those who requested this 🙂

みんな! がんばりましょう!

Thank you guys!
